The relation would be:

a+c=2b

Proof:

Let b=a+d,c=a+2d

d=common difference

a+c=a+a+2d

=2a+2d

=2(a+d)

=2b

Hope you are satisfied

In all of the APs difference of consecutive terms cannot be changed, therefore :

Difference between c and b = Difference between b and a

c - b = b - a

c + a = b + b

c + a = 2b

Therefore, the relation should be 2b = a + c
