Given:

The terms in GP = a, b and c

To Find:

1/a,1/b,1/c are also in GP

Solution:

As per the question, it is given that three terms a,b,c are in G.P.

Therefore,

b² = ac

Now,

We also need to show that, other three terms 1/a,1/b,1/c are also in G.P.

Hence,

(1/b)² = ( 1/a) × (1/c)

(1/b)² = ( 1/ac)

After cross multuplying -

b² = ac

Hence it is proved that, 1/a,1/b,1/c are in G.P.

Answer: The terms 1/a,1/b,1/c are in G.P.
