Given: a, b, c are integers.

To find: Value of c for (a/b)/c = a/(b/c)

Solution:

  • Now we have given three integers a, b and c.
  • We have given the term (a/b)/c = a/(b/c)
  • Now solving this, we get:

              a / bc = ac / b

  • Cancelling a / b from both sides, we have:

              1 / c = c

  • Cross multiplying both sides, we get:

              c² = 1

              c = ±1

Answer:

        Now this term to be equal c should take the value either 1 or -1.
