If A B C are the mid points of DE EF FD OF TRIANGLE DEF then find the ratio of triangle ABC AND Triangle DEF

First of all let me state this theorem

"The area of triangle formed by joining the mid points of the sides of a triangle is one fourth the area of the original triangle "

So according to this

ar(∆ABC) = 1/4 * ar(∆DEF)

=> 1/4 * 14.4

=> 3.8 cm²

Thus the area of ∆ABC is 3.8cm²
