a bought 5x mangoes
b bought 3x mangoes
c bought 2x mangoes
by question, 5x-2x=60
or x=20
so the difference between B and C = 3x-2x=x=20 ...here is the answer

Let the coefficient be x .
A has 5x mangoes
B has 3x mangoes
C has 2x mangoes

As per the question,
A -C = 5x - 2x = 60
i.e. x= 20
Now, difference between no. of mangoes of B and C is 20 i.e. 60-40
