if A, B, C, D are four consecutive terms of an ap then find the value of D^2-A^2/C^2-B^2​

Answer:

A=a

B=a+d

C=a+2d

D=a+3d

then

A^2=a^2

B^2=a^2+d^2+2ad

C^2=a^2+4d^2+4ad

D^2=a^2+9d^2+6ad

then

D^2-A^2=9d+6ad......1

C^2-B^2=3d^2+2ad.....2

then1/2

=3(3d^2+2ad)/(3d^2+2ad)

=3/1

=3

is the answer.......
