Question: If a,b,c,d are replaced in the equation (a/b+c/d) with 1,2,3,4 what can be thr maximum value of the equation?

Solution: Acc to the question the given equation is \frac{a}{b}   + \frac{c}{d}  .

Now after replacing the variables with constant value 1,2,3 and 4 respectively we get,

 \frac{1}{2}   + \frac{3}{4}   = 0.5 + 0.75 = 1.25.

∴ The maximum value of the equation is 1.25    [Ans]

Hope the above answer helps.
