if a :b is = 5 :6 and B : C is = 8 : 9 find the A : B : C

a:b=5:6=5/6
c:b=9:8=9/8
for finding a:b:c , we must make one b equal to other
so,
8/6=4/3
(5 x 4/3) / (6 x 4/3)
20/3 / 8
so,a:b=(20/3) / 8
a:b:c = 20/3 : 8 : 9
we have to remove "by three" ,so we will multiply all the numerals with 3
a:b:c = 20/3 x 3 : 8 x 3 : 9 x 3
a:b:c = 20 ; 24 : 27
