let P is mid point of A anb B I.e. a,b

A is 10,-6

B is K,4

P is a,b

by ratio formula a= (1 multiply by k + 1 multiply by 10)/2 gives (k+10)/2 = a

or k+10=2a

similarly solving b we get (4-6)/2 = -1

relation is a-2b=18

by substituting we get a = 16

and k+10=2a we get

k = 22
