If a bacterium grows in every 35 mins and a culture is grown of 100000 cells. How many cells will be grown after 175 mins

Let's consider that there's a single bacterium in the culture. 175 minutes equals five 35 minutes, thus the bacterium divides 5 times. After 5 divisions number of bacteria would be 32 = 2^5

Now, for the solution of this question simply multiply the initial number of bacteria with 2 raised to the power the number of divisions.

ie: 100,000 × 2^5 = 32,00,000
