if a ball is. Ashdown upward by applying force it reaches a certain s certain height and comes down again .why is this so ??

Answer:

due to gravity. Earth has a magnetic field that pull us downwards to stay on the ground, if this gravitational force is not present on earth then we'll float like an astronaut!
