if A BandC are three points on a line and B lies between A and C then prove that AB+BC=AC

Since complete line is AC and B is point on it.
therefore, AC is divide into 2 parts AB&BC.
therefore, AC=AB+BC 

OR

AB=AC-BC
BC =AC-AB 
AB+BC=AB 
HENCE PROVED
