Answer:

X be the value of ball.

1$ more than ball equals bat.

So now Bat costs X + $1

Total cost of bat and ball is $1.10

Now BAT(X+$1) + BALL(X) = $1.10

hence (X + 1) + X = 1.10

2X + 1 = 1.10

2X = 1.10 - 1

2X = 0.10

X = 0.05
