\large\bold{Question:\\}

If a bike covers 108 Km in two hours. Find its speed in m/sec.

\large\bold{Given:}

Distance: 108 Km,

Time: 2 Hours,

\large\bold{To\:FinD:}

Speed in m/sec.

\large\bold{Formula\:used \:for \:solving:}

  • \large\mathfrak{Speed=\frac{Distance}{Time} }

  • To convert km/hr into m/sec, multiply the number by 5 and then divide it by 18, So \frac{5}{18}

   \huge\fcolorbox{black}{lime}{AnsweR:}

  • \large\mathfrak{\frac{108}{2}=54\:km/hr }

  • \large\boxed{\mathfrak{54*\frac{5}{18} }}         =   \large\boxed{\mathfrak{\frac{270}{18} }}    = \large\mathfrak{15\:m/sec.}

 \huge \colorbox{lightgreen}{answer}

Distance = 108 km

time = 2 hours

 \bf \: speed \:  =  \frac{distance}{time}  \\  \\  \bf \:  = \cancel  \frac{108}{2} km  / hr \\  \\ \bf \:  = 54km /hr \\  \\  \bf \: now \: speed \: in \: m/s =  \frac{54 \times 1000}{3600} m/s \\  \\  \bf \:  = 15m/s

hope it helps you dear...
