distance covered by body in the 10th second of its motion

We know that distance travelled in nth seconds

= u + a/2(2n - 1)

let the distance covered in 10th seconds be S10

here,

n = 10 s

initial velocity(u) = 0 m/s

acceleration(a) = 2 m/s²

putting the values

S10 = 0 + 2/2(2(10) - 1)

= 20 - 1

S10 = 19

so,

Distance travelled in 10th seconds

= 19 meter
