Explanation:

Initial velocity = 35m/s

Final velocity = 12m/s

Time = 10s

acceleration= change in velocity / time take

12-35/10

-23/10

=-2.3m/s² is the retardation of the body

Here , u=35m/s

v=12m/s

t=10s

v = u + at

12 = 35 + 10a

12 - 35 = 10a

a = -23/10 = -2.3
