if a body falls from a height,bounces back from ground and again goes upwards with loss of a part of its energy find 1.how will potential energy change,2.what are various energy conversions ,3.what will be its ultimate energy

Hey Hi,

1) When it strikes the ground it's P.E is 0J
After bouncing it's P.E increases gradually.

2) The various energy transformations are :
PE to KE
PE to heat energy
KE to PE
PE to sound energy

At the time it strikes the ground it's KE is maximum and at after it bounces it's KE will become PE.

3) The ultimate energy remains constant at any point because of Law of Conservation of Energy.
