Solution:-

We can easily find out the height from which the ball is dropped by using these simple steps.

As

Time taken by the ball (t) = 3sec

a = 10m/s²

and since the ball is being dropped, it will not have any initial velocity,

So, initial velocity (u) = 0

Height (h) =?

So, according to the second equation of motion

h = ut +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}

on putting the values we get,

h = 0 \times 3 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 10 \times  {3}^{2}

h = 0 + 5 \times 9

h = 5 \times 9

h = 45m

Hence, The height from which the ball is dropped is 45m.
