If a body is just released from a height 80m above the ground. What time it will take to reach the ground

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2}g {t}^{2}
u=0
because it was just released
therefore 'ut'=0
distance(s)=80

80 =  \frac{1}{2} \times 10 \times  {t}^{2}   \\  {t}^{2 }  = 16 \\ t = 4secs
