Answer:

Given:- initial Velocity=80km/hr

final velocity=40km/hr

Time taken= 2sec

first change km/hr into m/sec

80×5/18 = 22.222... and 40×5/18 =11.111..

formula:- v=u+at

a=u+t/v

put the values

A= 11.111×2/22.222

A= 0 m/sec

now, Distance (S) = ut+1/2at square

S = 11.111×2 + 1/2 × 0×2square

S= 22.222+1/2

S= approximately 22.576m

I sure it's help you
