HEYA!
---------

Given that

Initial velocity u = 5m/s

Final velocity v = 0

Time t = 5 sec

Using the first equation of motion

V = U + AT

5 + 5A = 0

5A= -5

A = -1 m/s-2

---------------------------------------------------

Now regarding the force ,

Force = mass × acceleration

F = ma

F= 100×-1

=- 100 N

{ THE negative sign shows its a retarding force }

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Force = mass ×acceleration
Force = 100 × acceleration
Because mass = 100
Acceleration = (v-u)/t
Force = 100× (5-0)/5
V= Final Velocity = 5m/s
Initial Velocity = 0
T=Time = 5 seconds
Force = 100×5/5
Force = 100 newton
