If a body of 25 kgs at rest acquires a velocity of
30m/s in 3 s due to application of a force, find the value of force

HI there !!

Mass = m = 25 kg

Initial velocity = u = 0 m/s

Final Velocity = v = 30 m/s

Time = t = 3 sec

Law of motion :-

v = u + at

30 = 0 + 3a

a = 30/3

a = 10 m/s²

Force = F = ma
= 25 × 10 = 250 N

Acceleration =
final velocity -initial velocity /Time taken

Key points :-

At rest velocity =0m/s


Solution :-

a=30-0/3 m/s²

a=30/3=10m/s²

a=10m/s²

F=m*a
=25*10 kgm/s²

=250N
