If a body of mass 10 kg hanging from a spring oscillats with a time period of 6.28 seconds than the spring constant is (g=10ms-2)

Time period of spring constant is given as
T = 2 π sqrt(m/k)

Rearrange the above equation to find k
k = (4π²m) / T²
= (4 × (3.14)² × 10 kg) / (6.28 s)²
= 10 kg/s²

∴ Spring constant is 10 kg/s²
