No. of students =24

no. of sweets each gets =5

therefore, total no. of sweets 24×5=120

the no. of children when 4 is gone =24−4=20

Hence,each child will get 120

20

=6 sweets

:-Each one will get 6 sweets

Given:

✰ Number of children = 28

✰ Number of sweets each children gets = 6

✰ After that the number of children is reduced by 4.

To find:

✠ Number of sweets each get, if the number of children is reduced by 4?

Solution:

❖ Let's understand the concept first! First we are provided that a box of sweets is divided among 28 children and they will get 6 sweets each that means when the number of children are 28 then each will get 6 sweets. First, we will find total sweets that 28 children got. After that the number of children is reduced by 4 so we will substract 4 from earlier number of children, then we will divide total number of sweets by the number of children when 4 are gone to get number of sweets each get when 4 are gone.

Let's see how...

⟹ Number of children = 28

⟹ Number of sweets each children gets = 6

⟹ Total number of sweets = 28 × 6

⟹ Total number of sweets = 168

Number of children when 4 are gone = Number of children - 4

⟹ Number of children when 4 are gone = 28 - 4

⟹ Number of children when 4 are gone = 24

Now,

➤ Number of sweets each get = Total number of sweets/Number of children when 4 are gone

➤ Number of sweets each get = 168/24

➤ Number of sweets each get = 7

They will get 7 sweets each, if the number of children is reduced by 4.
