Children. = 18 18 - 6 =12

Each Students. = 8 y2

Formula = x1y1 = x2y2

= 18×8 = 12×y2

= y2 = 18×8/12

= y2 = 6×2

= y2 = 12

Hence, 12 sweets would each get, if the number of the children is reduced by 6. (ANS)
