Answer:

distance = 705 .16 m

time taken = 10.2 min

first convert min into sec  =612 sec

therefore , his speed will be = speed = distance / time

so, = 705.16 / 612

      = 1.15 m /sec

hope it is clear ..

ANSWER:

Given

  • A boy covers 705.16m in 10.2 min
  • Speed = ?

 \pink \star \:  \bold{  \blue{speed} \orange=  \dfrac{ \green{distance}}{ \purple{time}} }

♦ Distance = 705.16 (metres)

♦ Time = 10.2 (minutes)

Hence the speed will be in metre/min . If we convert minutes into seconds we get m/s i.e S.I unit

⟶ 10.2 min → seconds

⟶ 10.2 min → 612 seconds

 \tt{ \longrightarrow  \orange{speed} \pink =   \green{  \cancel\dfrac{705.16}{612} }} \\  \tt{ \longrightarrow \orange{speed } \pink{ = } \blue{1.15 \: m/s}}

Hence, speed = 1.15m/s
