If a building our house has things like so pieces metallic flower basis glass table etc how would this affect the people in the house during a cyclone

During a cyclone the glass furniture and metallic objects will be pulled towards the centre of the cyclone due to centripetal force and therefore crashing on everything on its way, and if unfortunately enough you are on the way, then will you get hit or seriously injured.
