Given:

If a bunch of 10 flowers costs Rs. 25

To Find:

how much will a bunch of 4 flowers cost

Solution:

It is given that a bunch of 10 flowers cost Rs 25, then the cost of 1 flower will be 25 divided by 10,

Cost of 1 flower,

[tex]Cost=\frac{25}{10} \\ =2.5[/tex]

So the cost of 1 flower is Rs 2.5 and now the cost of the 4 flowers will be multiplication of cost of 1 flower times 4, which is

Cost of 4 flowers,

Cost=2.5*4

       =Rs 10

Hence, the cost of a bunch of 4 flowers will be Rs 10.
