Distance covered = 124 km

time taken = 4 hours

uniform speed

$\green{speed = \frac{distance}{time} }$

$\orange{speed = \frac{124}{4} = 31 \: \frac{km}{h} }$

then if the time is doubled and bus is still in the same speed then the distance travelled will be

$\red{distance = speed \ \times time}$

$\blue{distance = 31 \times 8 = 248 \: km }$

Hence the distance travelled in 8 hours will be 248 km
