Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

A takes 16 days to finish work, hence, in one day, does 1/16 part of work.

B takes 18 days to finish work, hence, in one day, does 1/18 part of work.

C takes 24 days to finish work, hence, in one day, does 1/24 part of work.

Combined work in a day if work together :

1/16 + 1/18 + 1/24 = 23/144

To complete the work together, they need

144/23 = 6.26 days...

Answer:

If A can complete a work in 16 days

B can complete the same work in 18 days and

C can complete the same work in 24 days

Then, tike taken complete the work by working together

 \frac{1}{t} = \frac{1}{a} + \frac{1}{b} + \frac{1}{c} \\ \frac{1}{t} = \frac{1}{16} + \frac{1}{18} + \frac{1}{24} \\ \frac{1}{t} = \frac{9 + 8 + 6}{144} \\ \frac{1}{t} = \frac{23}{144} \\ \\ \\ t = \frac{144}{23} \\ =6.26 days = 6 \: days \: 6 \: hour \: 15 \: minutes \:
