If A can complete some work in 6 days, B can complete the same work in 18 days and C in 9 days. How long will all three of them take to complete the work by working together?

Part of work done by A,B,C In 1 day=(1/6) +(1/18)+(1/9)

                                                           =(3+1+2)/18=6/18 =1/3

1/3 part of work done in 1 day

∴ 1 work can be done in 1 ÷ (1/3) = 3 days
