102 km = 6.8 litres (Given)

Find 1 litre:

6.8 litres = 102 km

1 litre = 102 ÷ 6.8 = 15 km

Find 24.2 litres:

24.2 litres = 15 x 24.2 = 363 km

Answer: 24.2 litres can travel 363 km

given

car covers 102 km with 6.8 litres of petrol

if 6.8 litres = 102 km

then 1 litre = 102/6.8 = 15 km .

if 1 litre = 15 km

then 24.2 litres = 24.2 x 15 = 363 km

hence car covers 363 km .
