V = u + at Assuming initial velocity as =0 we have 20 = 0 + a*5 or acceleration is a = 20/5= 4 m/sec/sec.

Acceleration = (V2-V1) /(T2-T1)

So if the speed change 20 m/s in 5 sec then

Acceleration = (20-0)/(5–0)

= 4 m/s^2
