Explanation:

Given:-

Acceleration , a = 4m/s²

Time taken , t = 5s

Initial velocity , u = 5m/s

To Find:-

Distance covered by car ,s

Solution:-

Firstly we calculate the Final velocity.

By using 1st equation of motion

• v = u+at

Substitute the value we get

→ v = 5+4×5

→ v = 25m/s

Now , using 3rd equation of motion

• v² =u² + 2as

Substitute the value we get

→ 25² = 5² + 2×4 ×s

→ 625 = 25 × 8×s

→ 625 - 25 = 8×s

→ 600 = 8×S

→ S = 600/8

→ S = 75 m

Therefore, the distance covered by the car is 75m.
