Step-by-step explanation:

Let d be total distance

s1 = 40 kmph

t1 = 30/60 hr = 1/2 hr

s2 = 60 kmph

t2 = 1/2 hr

So half distance will be d/2 travelled by 40 kmph

and half distance will be d/2 travelled by 60 kmph

Speed = distance / time

distance = speed × time

= (40+60)×(1/2+1/2)

= 100

Answer:

50 km

Step-by-step explanation:

in the first 30 min the car was at 40 kmph...

ph means per hour but it travelled only for half an hour ( 30 min) so 40 ÷ 2.....

in the second 30 min the car was at 60 kmph....and travelled for 30 min....

so follow the same sequence in the first 30 min above.....

thanks...
