☀️ Given that: A car of mass 1,000kg moves with energy of 2500J

Need to find: Velocity of the car

Must Understand:

  • Kinetic energy is a form of energy possessed by an object due to its motion.
  • Formula of Kinetic Energy = 1/2mv²

Where,

m is mass

v is velocity

Solution:

→ 2500 = 1/2 × 1000 × v²

→ 2500 = 500 × v²

→ v² = 2500/500

→ v² = 5

→ v = √5 m/s

→ v = 2.23 m/s ( approx )

  • Henceforth, Velocity of the car is √5 m/s

Answer:

We know,

Kinetic energy = 1/2mv^2

So,

2500 \:  =  \frac{1}{2} \times  1000 \times  {v}^{2}  \\  \\ 2500= 500 \times  {v}^{2}  \\  \frac{2500}{500}  =  {v}^{2}  \\ 5 =  {v}^{2}  \\ 2.23 = v \\ therefore \: velocity \:  = 2.23m {s}^{ - }
