if a car of mass 1000kg is moving with a speed of 90 km/h and it applies brakes to produce acceleration that is -0•5 m/s then how far will the car move

Speed of car = 90 km/h = 25 m/s

Time taken to stop the car = 4s

Mass of car along with passenger = 100 kg

Acceleration / retardation = -25 /4 = 6.25 m/

Force = mass * acceleration  = 100 kg * 6.25 m/ = 625 N
