Given :- u=0 m/s

v=50 m/s

t=10 s

a=?

Solution :- a = v-u

t

a = 50-0 = 50/10

10

So, a= 5 m/s

Hope this may help u !!!

Answer

  • Acceleration of the car = 5 m/s²

Given

  • A car starts from rest and it's velocity becomes 50 m/s after 10 seconds.

To Find

  • Acceleration of the car.

Step By Step Explanation

Given that

  • Initial velocity = 0
  • Final velocity = 50 m/s
  • Time = 10 seconds

We need to find acceleration of the car.

So let's do it !!

By using first equation of motion

  • v = u + at

By substituting the values

\longmapsto \sf50 = 0 + a \times 10 \\  \\\longmapsto \sf 50 = 10a \\  \\ \longmapsto \sf\cfrac{5\not0}{1\not0}  = a \\  \\\longmapsto \bf 5 \:{m/s}^{2}  = acceleration

Therefore acceleration of the car =

5 m/s²
