S = ut + 1/2 a t^2
50 = 4u + 1/2 × 5 × 4^2
4u = 10
u = 2.5 m/s
Hence the initial velocity is 2.5 m/s.
Hope this helps..
50 = 4u + 1/2 × 5 × 4^2
4u = 10
u = 2.5 m/s
Hence the initial velocity is 2.5 m/s.
Hope this helps..

Hello friend
--------------------&
Given data
Distance=50m
t=4sec
a=5m/s^2
To find
Initial speed =u= ?
Solution
Wkt
S = ut + 1/2 a t^2
Substitute the given values
50 = 4u + 1/2 × 5 × 4^2
50=4u+5*16/2
50=4u+ 5*8
50=4u+40
50-40=4u
10=4u
U=10/4
U= 2.5 m/s
Were initial velocity = 2.5 m/s
-----------------------
Hope it's help u
