If a certain principal amounts to 44,000 rs at 5% p.a. over 2years ,how much will it amount to in 3years at the same rate?

your answer is = 44*5*2
44*5=225
= 450

For 2years,

SI = PRT/100

= (P×5×2)/100

=10P/100

=P/10

We Know ,

P = A - SI

=44000 - P/10

Or, P = (440000 - P)/10

Or,10P = 440000 - P

Or,10P + P = 440000

Or, P = 440000 ÷ 11

=40,000

Now, for years

SI = PRT/100

= (40,000 × 5 ×3)/100

=400 × 15

= 6000

So, A = P + SI

= 40,000 + 6000

= 46,000
