Given:-

  • Charge ,Q = 50 C

  • Time taken ,t = 20s

To Find:-

  • Current Pass through the wire ,I

Solution:-

As we know that the current is defined as the charge pass through wire at per unit time.

• I = Q/t

where

I is the Current

Q is the charge

t is the time taken

Substitute the value we get

➨ I = 50/20

➨ I = 5/2

➨ I = 2.5 A

Therefore, the current pass through the wire is 2.5 Ampere.

Additional Information!!

• The flow of charge is called current.

• The charge passing per unit time through a given place is the magnitude of electric current at that place.

• SI unit of current is Ampere (A).

• If one coulomb of charge passing through a place in one second, then the current is said to be one ampere.

Answer:

Given :-

  • A charge of 50 C passes through a wire in 20 seconds.

To Find :-

  • How much current pass through a wire.

Formula Used :-

\boxed{\bold{\large{I\: =\: \dfrac{Q}{t}}}}

where,

  • I = Current
  • Q = Quantity of charge
  • t = Time period

Solution :-

Given :-

  • Charge (Q) = 50 C
  • Time (t) = 20 seconds

According to the question by using the formula we get,

⇒ I = \sf\dfrac{\cancel{50}}{\cancel{20}}

I = \dfrac{5}{2}

I = 2.5 A

\therefore The current pass through the wire is 2.5 A .
