It will definitely live longer in darkness( provided it has some food reserve).
In darkness it will carry out blackmann's reaction and produce assimilatory power for its needs
But in light it will not be able to form any power because the atmosphere lacks co2

The concept of plants converting carbon dioxide and water into oxygen and glucose in the presence of sunlight is based on the process of photosynthesis.

Explanation:

Photosynthesis is the process by which green plants sunthesis their own food by converting carbon dioixide (CO2) and water (H2O) into oxygen (O2)and energy (C6H12O6) in the presence of sunlight.

                  6CO2 + 6H2O + sunlight ------> C6H12O6 + 6O2

As we can see CO2 is an important factor that supports the process of photosynthesis and produces O2 that further supports human life. Hence, if a green plant placed in a place with the lack of CO2, it is not possible that the plant will survive.
