Heya mate !!! Here is the solution of your question :-

Solution :-

Perimeter of square = 88 cm

Length of side = (88/4) cm

=> 22cm

Area of square = = (22×22) = 484 cm²

Given Circumference of circle = 88 cm

Circumference = 2πr

88 = 2×22/7 × r

88 = 44r/7

88×7 = 44r

r = 88×7/44

r = 2×7

r = 14 cm

Area of circle = πr²

=> 22/7 × 14 × 14

=> 22×2×14

=> 44 × 14

=> 616 cm²

Clearly , 484 < 616

Area of square < area of circle .

Difference between both areas = 616-484 = 132 cm²

Hence the area of circle is greater than the area of square by 132 cm² .

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

circumference of circle=perimeter of sqr=88cm

2πr=88

r=44/π=44*7/22=14 cm

area=πr²

=22/7*14*14

=616 cm2

side of sqr=88/4=22 cm

area=22*22=484 cm2

so are of circle is more by

616-484=132cm2
