Angle subtended by each arc at the centre.

Solution,

We know that central angle of a circle is 360°

Now this whole circle is divided into six equal parts.

For this lets take measure of central angle=x°

Then, x+ x+ x+ x+ x+ x=360°

         ⇒6x=360°

        ⇒x=360/6=60°

Hence, the angle subtended by each arc at the centre is 60°
