If a circle is inscribed in a square of side 10 so that the circle touches the four sides of the square internally then the radius of circle is 5 units

Solution:

Given that,

A circle is inscribed in a square of side 10 so that the circle touches the four sides of the square internally

Side of square = 10

The circle is inscribed in square hence its length of diameter is equal to the side of square

Diameter of circle = Side of square

Diameter of circle = 10 units

Find the radius

Radius = \frac{diameter}{2}\\\\Radius = \frac{10}{2}\\\\Radius = 5

Thus, the radius of circle is 5 units
