if a circle pound has outer circumference 44m and inner path 2m wide find the area of path and area of inner circle

Circumference of outer circle =2×pie×radius
44=2×22/7×radius
44×7/22×2=radius
7m=radius

area of outer circle= pie×radius ^2
area=22/7×7×7
area=154m^2

radius of inner circle=radius of outer circle-widthof path= 7-2=5m

area of inner circle=pie×radius^2
area=22/7×5×5
area=550/7m^2

now, area of path=area of outer circle -area of
inner circle

area of path=154-550/7=1078-550/7=528/7m^2
