Let no. of boys be x
So, no. of girls = 2/5x

Total students= no. of boys+ no. of girls
35= x+2/5x
35= 5x+ 2x/5
35*5 = 7x
175 = 7x
x = 25

So, no.of boys= 25
No.of girls = 2*25/5
= 10
