Correct Question :- If a clerk can file 321 letters in half an hour or thirty minutes, how many letters can the person file in 540 minutes ?

Solution :-

→ In 30 minutes clerk can file = 321 letters

→ In 1 minute clerk can file = (321/30) letters

→ In 540 minutes clerk can file = (321/30) * 540 = 321 * 18 = 5778 letters .

Note :- if we assume given question is correct,

→ half an hour and third minutes = 30 + 30 = 60 minutes .

so,

→ In 60 minutes clerk can file = 321 letters

→ In 1 minute clerk can file = (321/30) letters

→ In 540 minutes clerk can file = (321/60) * 540 = 321 * 9 = 2889 letters .
