Answer:

FORCE = MASS x ACCELERATION

ACCELERATION = FINIAL VELOCITY - INITIAL VELOCITY / TIME

SO WE CAN RE WRITE FORCE EQUATION AS

F = M x FINAL VELOCITY - INITIAL VELOCITY / TIME

INITIAL VELOCITY (u) = 0 (AS THE OBJECT IS AT REST )

FINIAL VELOCITY (v) = 80 m/s

TIME (t) =  ?

MASS (m) = 400 / 1000 = 0.4 KG

FORCE (F) = 7 N

F = m x v-u /t

F = m x v /t  (since u = 0)

7 = 0.4 x 80 /  t

t = 32 / 7

t = 4.57 s
