Let quantity of milk and water mixed 5x and x
5 litre of water is added more gives x+5 litre
Now, 5x:x+5=5:2=>10x=5x+25=>5x=25
X=25
Hence amount of milk =5x=5*25=125 litre

raj948: wrong ans...Ans 25
Shashikanta94: 5x=25 then, x=5 ,milk=5x=25
raj948: yes thank you

let the container contains milk=5x and water=x
5 liters water added , then waters become x+5
now according question,
5x/(x+5) = 5/2
=> 10x = 5x+25
=> 10x-5x = 25
=> 5x = 25
=> x = 25/5 = 5
milk = 25 and water = 5 (initial)
